What God Requires of  YOU

Micah 6:6-8
Israel responded to God's request by trying to appease him with sacrifices, hoping he would then leave them alone. But sacrifices and other religious rituals aren't enough; God wants changed lives. He wants his people to be [1] fair, [2] just, [3] merciful, and [4] humble. God wants us to become living sacrifices (Rom.12:1-2), not just do religious deeds, but living rightly (Jer.4:4; Heb.9:14). It is impossible to follow God consistently without his transforming love in our hearts.

Micah 6:8
People today try all kinds of ways to please God (Mic.6:6-7), but God is very clear about what He wants from us: He wants his people to do what is [1] right, [2] love mercy, and [3] walk humbly with him. In your efforts to please God, examine these areas on a regular basis.
[1] Are you fair in your dealings with people?
[2] Do you show mercy to those who wrong you?
[3] Are you learning humility?

Be wise, share the Gospel with a lost soul today

How often is attention given to 'every word' when reading or listening to Scripture? Think of how impacting it would be to have an indepth understanding of each word. It would open up a new perspective and make the word of God most rewarding.

How God Feels About the Wicked

Ezekiel 18: 23(NLT)  “Do you think that I like to see wicked people die? says the Sovereign Lord. Of course not! I want them to turn from their wicked ways and live.

Even though God is a God of love, he is also a God of perfect justice. It is His perfect love which causes him to be merciful to those who recognize their sin and turn to him, but he cannot excuse those who sin deliberately. Wicked people die both physically and spiritually. The death of the wicked does not bring God any kind of joy at all. He would much prefer that they turn to Him and receive His gift of eternal life. Like God, we should not rejoice in the death and misfortunes of the unsaved.  What we really should do is everything in our power to bring them to faith.
