Glorifying the Triune God by creatively declaring the relevancy and practicality of His timeless Word.
The Golan Heights has been an issue of contention between Syria and Israel for years. Syria said it is determined to get the Golan Heights back one way or another. If diplomacy fails, then the alternative is war. In fact, Syria is so serious that it has stationed troops near Mount Hermon on Israel’s northern border ready to strike at a moments notice should the resumed negotiations take a turn for the worse.
It was status of the resumed negotiations that prompted Israel’s Defense Minister Ehud Barak at a conference in Israel to say that if the two countries cannot reach an agreement they could be forced into a conflict which may worsen into an “all out war”. In response, Syria’s Foreign Minister Walid al-Moallem said that Israel must stop being the bully of the neighborhood and warned that if war was to break out between his country and Israel, it would be “all out war” because Syria will have its war planes attack Israel on its home front, meaning the cities of the Jewish state. The Biblical prophecy of Daniel foretold in Daniel 11:40-42 that Israel will be attacked by Syria (the King of the North). The war of words by the Defense Minister of Israel and the Syrian Foreign Minister without a doubt, is a page right out of Bible prophecy and it will be fulfilled.
